This pillar of health and wellness is our natural defense known as the immune system. This system was naturally created to protect our bodies from diseases and other ailments that can seriously affect our health and wellness.
Our immune system is composed of a number of protective cells which include the white blood cells which were naturally created to act as our personal health care system and boost our health and wellness.
3rd Pillar of Health
Our body’s pH balance is the next pillar of our health and wellness. For us to be healthy, the PH of our body should be alkaline as opposed to acidic where most of the disease-causing organisms thrive. This means that the lower the pH your body has, the more likely you will find yourself falling sick. The acidic pH of the body can be attributed to overcooked and processed foods we consume on a daily basis along with the highly acidic drinks we consume. For us to maintain an alkaline pH we need to improve on how we eat.
4th Pillar of Health
The last and final pillar towards being healthy is our lifestyle. This entails that we make it a habit to do daily exercises even though not vigorous, to keep our bodies fit and healthy. It is also imperative that we reduce pollution from other drugs or chemicals, toxins, carcinogens, and stress that might endanger our immune system.
The four pillars mentioned and discussed above are key in enhancing the health and wellness of our bodies.
